DOTO (dogs one to one) is a dog walking service primarily for solo dog walks. A combined walk with a dog from the same household is available - see website for prices. Pet sitting and pop in visits are also available.
DOTO agrees to provide pet sitting services for pets entrusted to our care on the completion of an information form. All information provided on the form must be accurate and DOTO will not be held responsible for any misinformation.
Owners should let DOTO know of any changes to information as soon as possible.
Dog Walks
Owners chose whether they want their dogs on or off lead. If a dog is to go off lead, it must have a strong recall.
Owners must disclose any history of aggression or if the dog is required to wear a muzzle by law or for safety.
Owners must inform DOTO if a dog is in season or has had recent vet treatment or illness.
DOTO will contact the owner in an emergency and use their allocated vet as noted on the information form. In the unlikely event the owner cannot be contacted, DOTO will be guided by your allocated vet as to what treatment is needed. If veterinary attention is needed for your pet, the owner is responsible for any treatment costs.
DOTO has the right to stop offering services to a dog which show aggression, challenging behaviour or non-compliance to basic instructions.
DOTO requires the dog to be wearing a collar/harness and have a lead. Identity tags with correct contact information must always be on the dog. DOTO takes no responsibility for tags that get lost on the walk.
Owners need to give correct information about collection details and leaving the dog back in its home. Please make a towel available.
DOTO will require key access to owner's house with tag/keyring.
DOTO reserves to right to change terms, prices and conditions at any time. At least 4 weeks' notice will be given.
Owners who have booked a dog walk may cancel at no charge provided 48 hours notice is given. DOTO retains the right to charge for walks cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
If you are going on holiday please give at least 4 weeks notice and similar if you no longer require the services of DOTO.
Pet Sitting Overnight
DOTO provides pet sitting at your home for dogs and cats for overnight stays and holidays.
DOTO requires 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
DOTO requires 4 weeks notice for cancellations.
If under 4 weeks notice is given a 50% charge needs to be paid.
Payment
One hour dog walk £17.50, extra dog from same household £10
Half hour walk £12 (elderly dogs, puppies and dogs under treatment)
Pet sitting £60 per night includes one hour walk
Pop in visit 30mins £12 plus £2 per dog same household
Payment must be paid monthly on receipt of invoice unless negotiated differently. If payment is not paid within 7 days of receipt of invoice DOTO will stop providing their services until payment is made. Late payment will incur a £5 extra charge on the next invoice.
Additional Information
DOTO is covered by insurance for public liability. DOTO will not be responsible for any loss or damage within the property.
DOTO has a dog first aid certificate.
DOTO will not provide service for 5 weeks in the year due to holidays, at least two months' notice will be given to owners.
In extreme circumstances DOTO may need to cancel provision of service due to weather, illness or exceptional circumstances. In this case as much notice as possible will be given. DOTO will not be liable for costs incurred by the owner in the event of cancellation.
GDPR
DOTO will use client's information only for their own purposes and will not disclose any information unless consent is given.
